To give you an idea of your exact impact: We decide to split your amazing $5,100 donation up into different projects. In total your genous donation will save approxamitely one life per year, with an average filter lifetime of around 5-7 years - meaning that in total, your donation will likely prevent the death of atleast 3-5 young children and 1-2 eldery people (the most volunerable in these communities).
In addition to saving lives, these filters also create immense economic relief - preventing dozens of expensive, emergency visits to the local clinic and preventing hundreds of sick days for kids and working adults. Overall, your $5,100 donation will result in economic savings of more than $100,000 for local Congolese, Filipino, and Cambodian families, spread across thousands of families. This is huge because the average annual income in these communities is generally between $500 (Congo) to $2,500 (Philippines). These filters will also prevent thousands of illnesses among young children in the community.
